ABSTRACT
This is a case of a 60-year-old gentleman who presented with an extensive cutaneous vasculitic rash [leukocytoclastic] with lower gastrointestinal bleeding following a small dose of aspirin [81 mg]. The aspirin was stopped immediately. Three weeks later, he had acute renal failure, which was initially thought to be secondary to systemic vasculitis, but proved to be acute renal tubular necrosis as a delayed reaction to aspirin
ABSTRACT
Uveitis is one of the major features of Behcet's disease with a relapse and remission pattern. Severe presentation can be resistant to conventional treatment. Steroids have been used in the treatment of acute Behcet's uveitis, although these have their own ocular complications when used in large doses. We describe 3 patients that presented with acute uveitis while on treatment, uveitis was controlled by adding anti-tumor necrosis factor [TNF] and Infliximab
